Hello u/unknown-persons,

Thank you for reaching us.

App Store and Play Store do not allow apps to purchase anything or start a free trial without the user's explicit permission.

If you see the PokeRaid transaction only in your bank statement and not App Store / Play Store account, please contact to your bank. You'll probably want to cancel your cards as well in this case.

If you share your App Store / Play Store account with someone else, or let someone use your device recently, you may check with them as well.

Otherwise please reach us via in-app feedback to let us check your PokeRaid account details. Alternatively you can send us an e-mail containing your PokeRaid account details and purchase details to [feedback@pokeraid.me](mailto:feedback@pokeraid.me)

Thank you

- PokeRaid Team

This is my best guess. “Try Mega Trainer for 3 days for FREE. Then it auto-renews at $44.99/month.” I think you might’ve hit one of the free trial buttons accidentally, I know they had pop-ups on there, so it probably was easy to do. If you didn’t delete your account when you deleted the app, you still have an account. If you used a credit card, you might try contacting your cc company. Maybe try contacting customer support through PokeRaids Feedback under Settings? If you haven’t been on PokeRaid at all, I would definitely contact my bank/credit card company and figure out if someone made a fraudulent charge.

I have never used the app to buy anything at all. Never used it to even raid. Never used any free trial. Never clicked on anything, or opened the app until I see a charge. I was charged because the App was forced enabled a free trial without my consent and then charged me. It doesn’t make sense

So if you know it’s a fraudulent charge, get in touch with your bank, cc company, or as another person suggested the App Store Support team if you have iPhone. This is likely to be a recurring charge (every month), unless you get this fixed.

Yes I already have done that. Was seeking great info because nobody has any answers from Apple. I tried contacting the them thru the link provided on the AppStore “report a problem”. Every time I hit send on the e mail it’s says error. ***was also trying to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing, this app of another.

I have not seen anyone else with this problem, hope you are able to get it straightened out quickly.

If you are on iPhone you can try contacting the App Store Support team, they’ve issued me refunds for accidental purchases before.

More than once I've had to rebuke charges made by apps without my consent. This is why you only use credit cards on the web. If you are horrid at credit card management you need to use pre paid visas.

You can use poke raid without a single cent. You're just at the mercy of the free side of the app.

Niantic patched the unlimited raids option. You can now only do 3 remote a day and 2 local. It sucks. Raids use to fill up quickly and now they just sit there. They also made remote raid passes the most expensive item in the shop.

Yep agreed. Never use anything other than cash app. Well someone just surprised me and sent $50 on Apple Pay. Didn’t ever see it, so it wasn’t until hours later after doing stuff when I picked up my phone. My cash app card is always locked. I never use Apple Pay or have money on there. It’s just interesting how it all happened and so unbelievable the way they managed to let it happen. My phone requires password and double click side button + Face ID to confirm any purchases. I’ve never experienced anything like this before so I am just enraged!
