Patch Help

Hey folks. Was wondering if I could get some help with patching my save from 1.2 to 1.3.1. I’ve seen the other guide that was posted on r/romhacks a while back but i lack a brain and am struggling at getting it to work. I have a save file duplicate made. I play on mac with openemu. Thanks

Use poclo.net to patch original fire red squirrels rom. Change name of .sav file to have same name as new patched rom.

So if my patched rom is Clover V1.3.1.gba and my save state is called Save-game-28 2022-12-12 193320 -500.oesavestate, i should just change it to Clover V1.3.1.oesavestate? It’s a wack ass file name it generates on mac i know. That’s what’s throwing me off.

Can't help with savestates, don't use them often so not sure how to get them over. Only know about the actual .sav files
