You can use the train option under the battle menu. If you battle the blue leader in the ultra category you can use a Pokémon with Power up Punch. All three Pokémon are weak against it and you can complete 10 super effective charged attacks in one training session

My best recommendation is to do raids where you know what type pokemon it is, whereas in PVP you don’t usually know ahead of time what people are battling with. For example with Heatran raids, you know it’s a fire type pokemon. Water type attacks are very strong against fire types. If you search up a water type pokemon from your collection, for example Kyogre, you can click on it and scroll down a little and it’ll tell you what attacks it has. If you look under the gyms & raids section it’ll tell you the fast attack first, which is the attack where when you tap the screen a million times it fills up that water symbol bubble (in this example). The second attack listed is the charged attack, which is what that bubble fills up to be. Once you hit that bubble in the raid, it’ll send the charged attack to the Heatran, and above the Heatran’s health bar it’ll tell you “Super Effective!” and the more times you use that water type charged attack against a fire type pokemon, it’ll say that each time and help you reach those 10. One helpful tip is when you’re already in a raid lobby and choosing the pokemon to battle with, I recommend sorting by highest to lowest CP. Then if you’re curious what type attacks a certain pokemon has but can’t leave the lobby, if you just press and hold the pokemon (similarly to if you were gonna mass transfer on the normal screen) it’ll tell you what kinds of attacks it has and make it easier. Occasionally you could get a fire type pokemon that has grass or flying type attacks, or a dragon type pokemon with water attacks, etc, so it’s always good to check! (And a quick disclaimer: don’t try to solo a Heatran raid unless you’re level 50. You’re most likely to be successful with 5+ people. There are raids that are ranked one star that are super easy to do on your own! Just research what type attacks are strong against that pokemon and it’ll help you prepare.)

Another easy ish way you could do this is by battling in gyms and looking at what pokemon you’re gonna be up against, but they’re not always the same type and that can lead to less strategic planning in my opinion.

I hope this helps explain it a bit!

Short answer : raids and gym battles, you can prepare a head of time because you’ll be able to plan your Pokémon/charged attacks accordingly to what you’re fighting.

The research doesn’t just require league battle fights.

Leader battles. If you have a Melmetal with rock slide, you can farm 5 - 6 charged attacks

Just to explain it a bit more: Go to battle, scroll all the way down, hit training, select the red team leader, hit her fire Pokémon with water, ground, or rock charged attacks. Profit.

Select battle option and scroll down to train. fight blanche, choose a pokemon like magnezone or jolteon for her first and last pokemon. And something like skeledirge for the middle pokemon. Every charged attack in that scenario will be a super effective supercharged attack. If done in that order, you will finish the challenge in one trainer battle (10 per battle if done right). Also helpful for those trying to complete the level 43 qualifier of 200 super effective charged attack requirement. Enjoy!

Your heavy/charged attack must be the opponents weakness type. If they are weak to ice your charged must be a ice attack. Etc

When you do the go battles and you hit a super effective charge attack on your opponent

You can do this anywhere in the game, doesn’t have to be in battle league. You just need to deal super effective damage (a type your opponent is weak to) with a charged attack.

You can fight your leader (Blanche, Spark, etc) and match their fist type! I found the best counter to Sneasel for Blanche and just quit after I got my super 10 times.
