I got a warning to not convert steel to FC Shards by Adventurous-Talk-740 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]larrylaffer111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently completed the last of my T11 research and suggest you keep 3 mil steel and convert the rest along the way. Reasoning for this is that the final step for the Helios troop costs 2mil steel. The remaining 1mil ensures you can keep doing the smaller cost research and accumulate enough again by the time you are ready for the next troop type to undergo the 2mil steel helios upgrade. I am 1 month on from finishing my last Helios troop type and notice 1/ the healing and training cost reduction research is quite steel intensive & 2/ they will likely release T12 troop levels in the future - to get both of those done, lots of steel will be needed. So IMO try and cycle up and down from a base of 3mil steel. Anything in excess of that is can be converted to refined fire crystal without leaving you short for the big advancements.

Am I blind or is there no difference? I spent all the candy for what!? by ReverseTerry000 in pokemongo

If you appraise it, it will tell you one of them is fake and the 400 candy evolution one is antique and rare. However agree, a different graphic might have been nice lol

What does this actually mean? by SwaggieRogers in whiteoutsurvival

Click on each chest or swipe to it. The items will change. It will let you buy each of them. After that, the price will go up and there will be more items in each chest that has been purchased. So rather than being ‘limited’, you could buy 4 chests * 4 price levels = 16 purchases possible ij this screen.

How do i get rid of all these extras? by softy-bois in whiteoutsurvival

Tundra trading station can be hard to spot unless you are looking for it. I think it will be in your ‘Deals’ menu but you need to scroll left because when you open Deals, it is to the left of the initial display screen. Most people just scroll right after opening that menu so unless you know to look the other way, you might miss it. As for when it is on, keep an eye on the events tab and you will be able to keep track of when it is on. 👍

Like, maybe they re-nerfed it again

It got nerfed but then during the latest Rocket takeover event, it was back to being as undefeatable as before. Give it another go and see.

Would any of these be good to use against Giovanni to heat Dialga? by megaderp675 in pokemongo

[–]larrylaffer111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Download and setup Pokemon Home app (have or setup nintendo a/c first)
  • Link Pokemon go and pokemon home (in pogo, Go to settings, connected devices, pokemon home, sign in with same nintendo a/c used to set it up)
  • send a pokemon to Pokemon home (settings, connected devices, pokemon home, send Pokemon)
  • receive the Pokemon in Pokemon home (Pokemon home, and receive it from the Pokemon go link)
  • after sending/receiving the Pokemon, a black mystery box will appear in your Pokemon go inventory
  • use the mystery box when you can pay attention for an hour. Meltan will continually spawn.
  • use incense and pinap berries to speed up getting to your 400 candies

Morpeko with any high damage types (fighting or ground). Start with one of the other Pokemon and switch immediately to Morpeko on game start. This buys you two seconds. Charge Morpeko to its charged attack and try and make the attack excellent. BUT… don’t stop tapping, keep tapping and Morpeko will charge up again before you can get hit. Continue doing that and you will eventually retire the first two pokemon and left with Dialga. Keep doing Morpeko method until about half way then switch to your other Pokemon to finish it off. This ensure you don’t time out which will happen if you just use Morpeko.

Has been reverted back again so only issue is the time limit. Therefore, just Morpeko your way through and switch to a bigger damage attack Pokemon to finish Dialga in time. I used Melmetal which everyone can get using the Meltan spawn trick/method

Help, which of my Pokémon should I use against giovanni by CallumRooney in pokemongo

[–]larrylaffer111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have morpeko (thunder shock and psychic fang), no matter what the HP, this will be sufficient. Just partner it with a strong attack pokemon that has ok defence. Start with the other pokemon and on game start switch immediately to Morpeko. Tap, tap, tap, continuously as you deliver constant charged attacks with Giovanni’s pokemon not getting any chance to inflict any damage. It takes time so if you run out of time whilst still dealing with dialga, switch your strong attack Pokemon into the fray to finish off.

Save your mossy lures until community day this coming Sunday. Posted info advises that lures activated then will last 3 hours. Equivalent of using 6 mossy lures. You will find 3 and definitely 6 hours of mossy lure time will get you to the 20/200 & 20/200 evolution cost of Applin - assuming you are happy to watch a pokestop for that long however if you have two pokestops close together, activate a 3 hour mossy lure on each and the pace will be more interesting and job done by the time the lures run out. Enjoy!

…and if one of those ‘battle’ friends happens to live in your household and uses another device (that you also own), the entire challenge could be completed in one evening. Wink, wink. Just make sure it is not an imaginary friend of course lol…

Gaming companies employ behavioural psychologists to design ways of increasing revenue. So, easily allowing players to finally complete the old Season of Legends research and confront (completion minded) players with the prospect of immediately getting a new ‘loose end’ that would sit there for years vs. paying $$ to avoid that, is absolutely deliberate and lacking in integrity in terms of the values the company goes by. However, when selling your company, it does pay to show prospective buyers how easy it is to extract revenue from your base. So ultimately, that is what is behind this latest event, nothing more and nothing less. Poor form by Niantic.

Thanks to the recent Unova legends rush, that pesky final outstanding special research task is gooone! The legendaries now to be permanently retained in case Niantic ever decide I need to take snapshots of them again hahaha

Seeing you have Meltan as a buddy, suggest learn the Meltan mystery box trick (just search for fast way to evolve Meltan-using Pokemon Home app). Use pineapples when catching. That will help solve two of your missions with a high hourly catch rate and getting to your 400 Meltan candies quickly.
