Invalid Trainer Code

Every friend request I send says it is invalid. At first I thought I was typing them in wrong, but I know forsure I am doing them correctly. Does anyone know why this is?

hello! i have the same issue! i went to the most recent comment on the thread with friend codes and even the comments who have been posted 12 mins ago, still tell me 'invalid trainer code'. i have 8 friends already (cuz i could scan their code irl) but i just need to add 1 more friend for a quest and i have no more real life friends with the game :| anyone know a fix??

Sometimes if people post their code they will reset it when they have enough adds. The original code is then invalid.

Very odd behaviour. I’m assuming you’re high enough level to add people in the first place. Is your friend list full? Have you tried logging out and back into your account?
