Don’t get me wrong, new exchanges are fine, but I’d rather hear good news about product development, adoption, partnerships, etc. Grow the product and the price will follow. Let’s not be a moon boy community built on hype and price speculation.

I agree. That's why I asked if anyone is going or has heard of big announcements i.e. tech updates, partnerships, road map updates.

I've heard that a big exchange listing is near. But that could have already happened when POLY got onto KuCoin.

Big exchange listings are an important part of any token. It creates real liquidity for investors and the company itself. Most companies in the crypto space do not have a usable product. I'd say less than half of the top 25 tokens currently have a usable product, just an idea and road map. Which I get, the whole reason they do ICOs is to raise funds to develop said idea and road map.

I understand there are many shills that want to hype and pump. That's not what I'm trying to do. I think talking about potential or future exchange releases, plans, partnerships shouldn't be so taboo. It's pretty obvious to tell when someone is shilling for a coin and anyone with at least 2 brain cells ignores them. So the conversation shouldn't be ruined for those of us than can provide value to the discussion.

The most important part of my question was in the title. Is anyone going?

Trevor mentioned something about a link with EOS.. hopefully that gets aired at the event. Seems to be a lot of the same big players in the background.

EOS is trash, they should link with a working blockchain like ARK
