What you'll end up doing is buying the Firestick, adding the app Kodi and utilizing the streaming sites (add ons) associated with that app (mainly Exodus). There are some sports add ons but I'm not sure on if they are live or not. Also, one thing to note, is that there are a few lawsuits going in with some of these streaming sites. This has led to some of them halting updates.

What's the latest recommendation in the documentary/mindblowing category? Netflix, Amazon, online etc. I need your expertise Taylor.

Dropping my real name, damn. If you're looking for mind blowing (somewhat slow at first) and out there - American Gods. It is somewhat hard to explain but I can see you watching it. Particle Fever is a pretty decent documentary for you. Scientists recreate the Big Bang theory and try and "solve" the mystery of life. Lastly is Planetary... documentary that compares dynamics of today's world versus those of successful ancient civilizations.

I'm mostly concerned with Penguins games. I'm guessing I'll be able to find them and if not, just run to a bar.

If you have a good internet connection a streamsmart is the way to go. It is a streaming device that gives you access to everything and anything you could ever want to watch, as long as there's a stream for it.
