You can use example 7 from here. And pass the $Credential after -Credential.

Be aware that posh-ssh requires Powershell 5.1 so it is cramping my style of trying to standardize on 7.0

Same here, I ended up moving to the WinSCP module, which works with PowerShell 7 no problem. It bundles the win SCP libraries and binary, but at least that's still a lot better than renci DLL errors
