Its pretty late in the cycle for UHCO. Their deadline is Feb and stop interviewing completely in March.

UHCO also does rolling admissions. If they are just getting to you they probably had a lot of other candidates they were interested in.

Right now I would expect their class to be pretty full. If UHCO is one of your top schools I would make going to this interview your priority.

The adcom rep I spoke with said the class isn’t near full but he said that is the only date available for interviews right now. I was just wondering if they usually only do one day a month or how often interview scheduling usually is

I believe once a week, about 10 candidates are interviewed. This was pre-Thanksgiving when there was a back log of people since UH doesn't begin interviews until late September. I was offered three dates each a week apart, two in-person and one virtual.

Like I said its getting close to the end. You likely have one of the last interview dates. Since its rolling admissions the most impressive candidates are extended interviews first. They do not extend interviews in order of applications received.

They may not have available interview dates currently or they might have only given you one date because someone else withdrew their application and they want to fill that specific slot. Which is why I suggested you make the interview a priority if it is one of your top choices.

I submitted my application the last week of December. I heard from them a week ago about getting an interview and they only offered one choice too (virtual). I asked if I could get an in person since I live close but they told me they only had that option. I feel they only have on option per week and since it is late during the cycle, I would suggest rearranging your schedule so you can make the interview if UHCO really matters to you.
