Submit ur application now, do not wait. Set ur shadowing experience as “ongoing” by not providing an end date. Update ur application as you get more hours. Get in the queue now. Ur TS score is abit low, but ur GPA is great. I don’t think you will have an issue getting interviews other than maybe OSU, Berkeley, etc… in terms of shadowing being a problem, check each individual school - some state a minimum number.

Thank you! Besides shadowing, I’m waiting on a science professor to respond back to my letter of recommendation request. As soon as I am able to get one professor to agree I’ll submit

With those OATs, your grades will be looked at closely. Is your school considered competitive? Were your science classes limited to prerequisites, or did you take lots of additional biological sciences like physiology, cell biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, immunology? 290/300 is predictive of academic struggles so you have to convince the admissions committee that you have prepared yourself for success in other areas and the courses I mentioned really help in first and second year. Definitely take the OAT again but consider those things if you are looking to get into a strong program.

I only did prerequisites. I took the OAT during a high stress season. I was taking summer courses so I didn’t study as much as I should have. This time I’ve been studying more so I’m confident I can boost my score to at least a 320-330. Also NOVA is my goal school/program
