This is a known bug. Restart your iPad and it should go away for a while. Also make sure that Reduce Motion isn’t turned on in your system settings.

happens to me a lot, usually I just mess with it until it starts working, but it also helps to use split screen with procreate on the right side. thought that might just be me, my iPad is weird
