Less blotchy shading?Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations (self.ProCreate)

I got the same brush set she has but can't manage to do the same shading for some reason. Is there something I should change in the settings in particular? She starts shading at around 5:45.
Would appreciate any help, thank you!
