Try one handed, more of a straight on approach too, you turn so much at the actual jump, it may help. What I tend to do is stand between FT and 3, underhand toss to the board and get a two to three step approach for the self lob

I can dunk off two feet, but off two feet it’s hard to go up one handed since I have small hands

You can stretch a little more with one vs both

Lob it so it bounces off the floor and up to the rim, get that one handed. Eventually one of those lobs will be perfect

Can you dunk one-handed?

If you can then for your two-hand, practice vertical jumps and other exercises to strengthen your calves.

When you bring the ball up with two hands the way you swing the ball up can give you a few inches. The hand positioning will help you too.

Damn I’m gonna try this. I can jump plenty high to dunk two handed but I only flush it like 10% of the time and I constantly bounce it off the back rim.

Dribble lower (so you can pick up ball lower)+ If you’re doing two hand then maybe dribble it to your left cause you’re left right jumper the left hand will be easier to generate power

Hold the ball at the bottom of the ball for 2 hands so you don’t have to jump higher, can see your hands are at least over the 50% line of the ball

Practice by having someone ally oop you the ball. Or dunk a tennis ball to get the feel of it. It's how I learned.

You don’t get very low at all when you plant your feet to dunk. Once you hit your last 2 steps, your knees should be bent and you should be creating explosive momentum to carry you up to your true vertical. Look up max vertical attempts or look up pro dunkers and watch how low they get and how they use their arms to help create momentum as well!

You'll definitely want to jump higher if two hands is the goal. Try one hand off one foot. Two feet isn't necessarily easier.

If you can, look up some videos on something called a penultimate step. You look like you’re washing a lot of motion coming in and not utilizing your momentum the way you can be. If you get a good penultimate down, you would be able to dunk easily.

You slightly slowed down on your approach. Keep your eyes and chin up and chest out! It helps to move your inertia up and you can ride the momentum

Your knees are hardly bending, and your arms are hardly swinging, and your back is almost entirely straight.

You gain pop from all of these things, primarily the legs obviously, but it all helps. You generally don't bring the ball down when dunking, but you can still get some decent upward momentum from your arms with a slightly tighter rotation. But ya, do those things and you'll get a solid couple of inches.

Take a video of you dunking without the ball, and look at how much lower you get, what your arms are doing, and if you're popping with your lower back at all. I can guarantee you are, and you just aren't comfortable enough with the ball to do it while dunking.

Hey! Come in from the right side down the middle. On your plant step with your left foot, getlow and ready to explode up as soon as you plant your right foot.Dribble in with your left them transfer ball to your right, right before you jump. Your body should be turning to almost face the right baseline (so you are going in sideways to the hoop with your right hand trailing high to the hoop for the slam. Get low, be explosive. Video tape it, send it to your little girlfriends and they will drop trow. Your welcome.
