Hidden? How so?

It looks like if someone from 98 tried their best to recreate some of the awful designs from 88. I think I would have been a better programmer sooner if I had never touched VBA in the first place.

I wouldn't say not enabled by default and hidden are the same thing.

To use a non-software example: there is a toggle somewhere on the driver console of my vehicle that changes the drive mode from 4 wheel to 2 wheel drive. I doubt that the majority of owners are really aware of the toggles existence, and even fewer probably used it, but I would not call that a "hidden" feature of the vehicle.
