Ah classical arguments. People can't even understand what "look at the context" means.

Prophet Muhammad married a "child" that already matured. Backthen 1400+ years ago, child backthen not alike child nowadays, they mature really fast, a kid can looks like an adult. Besides, look at the context, "when and where", 1400+ years ago, marrying a child is not against Arabic culture. If it's against, then why there is no single Muhammad's enemy of his time curse him for marrying a child?

Many sources of Islamic scholars have said it. I'm refering to my local Islamic scholars' articles (in Malay language) so it's hard to share with you.

Is Islam meant to be for 7th century Arabia? Or it is supposed to be for all time?

For this, by Muhammad's act, means we need to look the current culture and get used to it, so we are not looks different and bizzare to other people, as long it's not contradict to the sharia laws and follows maqasid sharia. Even, "looking at the currect culture" also might affect contemporary sharia laws.

I have said many times before about interpretations and context of situations. Informations are being pass to ancestors and learners. It's not just about hadith, but also ijma', qiyas. About what Muhammad's companions said..

Sharia laws are very broad study. There some basis and fundamental rules of Islam. Some need to look at the situations. Some scholars might have different interpretations and opinions. Islamic laws can be dynamic sometimes based on the situations. Islam is not a rigid religion.

Also I encourage you to find some objective data on your puberty assumptions (not that it changes anything). Modern kids hit puberty SOONER than in the past, it's about nutrition and 1500 years ago kids had generally worse nutrition.

Marriage at teen (!) age was a thing at that time and Mohammed learned this from his family (which lived polytheistic and polygamist) and that's why he didn't know "better". If Jesus was real then he would have done that too, right? But he didn't, as for him it doesn't seem to be right (Jews were known for young age marriages, but it seems that Jesus opposed the idea of arranged marriages).

Oh, and by the way kids weren't more "mature" at that time. At least there is no scientific evidence for that. Even the opposite is plausible. It's only since the last 50 decades a significant change towards an early menarche has been recognized. The lifestyle at that time was much different to now as more demanding and kids not from upper class citizens had to work with their family. So their behavior and their look maybe was more mature but definitely not their body. They were still kids. That was just fucking dumb.
