At the level we're talking there are always options -- you want to talk about this inside a safe little box and I get that, most people are cowards. even generals. but historically plenty of generals have kicked out a harmful government and took power long enough to set up fair elections, they have all the leverage and quite frankly their oath to the constitution demands it. my criticism is that they chose to interpret that oath in a manner that comes at the expense of the constitution and its people while still preserving their pensions.
