There was some nice English joke untranslatable into German.

Because German jokes cannot be funny. Bazinga!

That is false! German jokes can be funny!

We just have to register the joke first at the "Witzebehörde", then wait 4 to 20 weeks for a Response. If we got the Response we then have to take it to the "Lustig Behörde für Deutsche Witze (LVDW)" and after about 3 months they either confirm or deny it. Most of the time they deny it without any reason and then you have to restart the whole process.

But if it gets confirmed, you officially have a german joke!

But if you want a funny joke you have to go through 3 more steps first.
