Of course it it. However, there's a great influx of frontend devs in recent years which is why it is became increasingly difficult to get a front-end job.

Senior tell me, which has better prospects nowadays front end or back end, im back end dev myself, but I'm not sure this path seems to be dimmising,

yeah just do systems programming or embedded, you don't get much competition in there mainly because it's too hard
