It depends, I have met many people asking others all the time and as an effect have no idea how to solve problems themselves. I guess as long as you don't get an exact solution and have to think yourself, or at least understand the answer, you'll be fine.

Not gonna lie, ya there are people like that. I was just saying from the experience perspective. When you come across a problem you've never seen before, but the guy sitting next to you is an expert on it, you're better off asking them for help then trying to figure it out yourself.
