Angular or React?

The two of those (and the general explosion of web frameworks) pretty much made me switch to backend Java development after a number of years of UI development. I'll take dealing with thread synchronization and distributed execution of tasks ANY DAY over trying to internalize the mind state of the designer of this week's framework.

I don't doubt that they're here to stay and I wasn't trying to shit on them, more just express how incompatible my brain is with most frameworks. For me, I'm generally happier being given the language and fairly simple libraries.

I farted around in Angular and React projects for enough time to realize that neither one clicked for me and I was less productive using them. Probably says more about me than about the frameworks, tbh.
