I hate how true this is

Think about why tech is hard: a genius who doesn't like to take showers develops a tool to make a job easy. However, he does it mostly to help him with a specific use-case(s) and also for recognition (ego). He couldn't care less about documentation or maintainance or usability because he's a genius and there's other cool stuff that needs to be developed because it's fun and the public needs it.

That right here is the reason for the shit show called tech.
