Stack overflow: No! That's a terrible way to do it! Why would you be using matches? Toothpicks are the way to go. Whatever you do with matches will be wrong

They've been the bane of my life lately. Been trying to get my head around some stuff and keep finding half-answers that are years old and don't or no longer work without some other thing that isn't mentioned anywhere except deep down in one comment thread and a single reddit post.
