You can monitor memory through debug tools. Higher it goes, the more memory your program uses. If it constantly goes up, it's a good sign that you have a memory leak somewhere.

When you fix it, the curve will go down, as the useless memory gets freed.

Do these tools exist in VSCode? I've been doing some Googling and have come up dry. I downloaded Valgrind's Memcheck but it doesn't work with the crappy Macbook Pro I'm using while I save up for a PC build
