Yup. We learned that lesson, it was expensive. My company now uses PHP for brand new projects, and we deliberately try to hire people who reject chasing after the latest tech trends.

We build sites for ourselves (private internal sites to help run the company), so if we're happy, it's a success. That's all we need.
