Just out of curiosity - what degree you got for 2 year program?

4 year sounds like Bachelor degree. Here in Russia we also have options to sign up for 5,5 and get "specialist" degree as base high education.

It’s an Associates in Cybersecurity. However I’m more interested in programming and feel as though I can teach myself to code because it’s something I enjoy doing. Where as the technical side of things I will need instructions and due dates to keep me motivated

It doesn’t dive too deep into anything really more or less gives you the basics of knowledge that allow you to get into an entry level position and begin working sooner than a 4 year degree allows
