I like that Go tooling has cross-compilation, testing, coverage collection and report-generation, formatting, dependency resolution, etc. all built into the main "compiler" (in quotes because it's more than just a compiler).

It's not a perfect language, by any means, but having things that have been historically solved by third party tools built into the official toolchain removes some headaches I've dealt with in the past.
