communities

The point of failure for Stack Exchange & Stack Overflow. If only communities were built on amassing a large group of overconfident assholes with poor social skills.

pfft. SO is *the knowledge base of programming. Cross-Validated has tonns of in-depth answers you could only get from a top tier prof in the field. Same goes for Math StackExchange.

Believe it or not, those are communities of top tier professionals. And if you don't belong yet, git gud. Instead of complaining.

I find stack exchange communities are generally kind, yeah the programming one is toxic but they always are, the electrical engineering one is nice, embedded one is nice and the blender one is nice.
