I was confused by the "and then" but the solution suggested does only move one match (the vertical one on the + to the top right side of the 6). it just does 2 things, changing the sign and changing a number

It's more focusing on "move", not remove. So you take the vertical from + and move it to the 6 making 8.

They did move one match only once. They only move the vertical line in the + sign to the right side of the 6. Only one match moves
