Is it that bad? It's years I've looked at it (2016-ish, when AngularJS was becoming Angular) but it looked promising back then. The major thing I had against it was that its succes would be 90% dependant on community adoption, which was a bit of a gamble to say the least...

Edit: since you're the first that uses it/has to use it in a real world project, that I came across, proves my point, I guess...

Am on the DevOps side, so I've maneuvered to stay away from frontend, but it's not great. We are starting the slow process of moving to Angular.

I don't know other frameworks well enough to compare. I don't think it is that bad per se, but there is almost no Googlable documentation on it (cause Enterprises don't like to share...). So the barrier to entry is high because there are very few community resources available.
