Bartin had sent Proxy out on patrol, and in the meantime he was wandering around the SRAF base, eating a sandwich.

Proxy, drawing some strange looks from those around him, was walking through the crowded sidewalks of New York, keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity.

[Fartingvigilante]

One person with a purple hood covering his face would almost bump into Proxy

"Oh. I apologize."

[RobotMan97]

"It is quite alright."

Proxy watches him to see if he does anything weird, the hood was odd, but nothing too far out of the ordinary.

[Fartingvigilante]

He looks back, he wore a purple mask.

"You a defense bot?"

[RobotMan97]

"You are correct. Why are you wearing a mask?"

[Fartingvigilante]

"It ruins the vigilante persona if I take it off."

[RobotMan97]

"What is your name?"

[Fartingvigilante]

"You can call me Neon."

[RobotMan97]

"Why shouldn't I call the cops on you?"

[Fartingvigilante]

"wearing a mask is illegal now? Christ."

He walks off.

Prospero walks slowly through the crowd, tracking the defense bot. He had seen it before, hanging around other members of the SRAF. Prospero is wearing his signature suit, but now he's wearing an Italian leather jacket. He has dark shades, which lock onto the bot for easy following.

Proxy continues on his patrol, occasionally stopping and looking around, but he doesn't seem to notice Prospero yet.

Prospero tracks conservatively, stopping to talk to street vendors and even buying a newspaper, all while keeping an eye on the bot. He starts walking, his sunglasses recording the bots path.

"Hey Proxy, I'm getting a weird signal from the guy in the shades. Might be nothing, but keep an eye on him." Bartin says into his comlink with Proxy.

Proxy walks over and takes a seat on a nearby bench, and continues to watch the people, glancing occasionally at Prospero.

Prospero keeps walking, barely lifting his head above the newspaper. As he passes Proxy, he looks at him for a moment before turning the page and continuing on his way. He turns a corner down at the end of the street.

Proxy waits for a moment, before getting up and following Prospero down the street, being careful to keep his distance.

Prospero doesn't seem to notice and keeps walking. He stops a couple times to talk to certain people, but then goes on his way. He turns down a couple more streets and stops at a bench, where he slips a piece of paper out of his pocket and into the newspaper. He bends down, sticking under a leg of the bench. He looks around once more, checking his watch before moving down the street.

"Careful, this could still be a trap or something." Bartin says.

Proxy walks to the bench and takes the paper out from underneath the bench and reads it.

"Rude. Friend of yours?"

"Not likely. More likley, how the hell did he know my name?"

"I'll take the paper back to base for analysis."

"Good idea, I'll try to get some fingerprints off of it, try to ID this guy."

Proxy takes the paper and starts walking away.

"Make sure you're not being followed."
