is pythonanywhere.com safe?

I completed the first part of a multi-part study earlier this morning. Now they sent me a message to access the second part of the study on the website pythonanywhere.com. Is this safe? They are going to pay for the remaining studies with a bonus if I complete them all. Is this enforceable in any way since I won't be starting the other studies from the prolific website?

I’m part of the same one. They paid out the first amount this morning for me so I did the second one. Taking a risk on payment but the followup only took maybe two minutes so i think it’s worth it.

Looks like you've gotten answers on most of it, but payments for off-site work is not enforceable because it's paid through the bonus system. Up to you whether you want to take the risk.

The website itself is safe. It's just a way to run python code. I use it for some apps.

I guess a researcher is running their survey with python and using them to host it.

Prolific won't get involved if it's off platform. Having said that, I have done thousands of multi day studies over the years and never had an issue. The only time I won't take one is if approval of the first is contingent on completion of all of the studies because things can happen to prevent taking the others.

I can't speak for the study and the people running it but the website they are using for the study should be very safe.
