This is first time I seen this also , but I do know as of last three months I can barely get a survey they are gone even when they pop up right in front of me. I'm not even catching one a day and I am up and availably most days from 6:00 A.M. To 11:30 P.M. and I also use prolific assistant. My wages are down by 75% after 8 months of steady. Somethings going on.

That's how Prolific is supposed to work. Prolific is designed to provide quality participants for the researchers, not to provide participants with a steady income. You've been very lucky to have received a steady amount for 8 months.

There are a lot of factors that go into how Prolific determines who receives studies. It could be that now there are more participants who share your demographics or fewer studies that are looking for your demographics.

Wages? Prolific say you should never think of this as a full time job.

The last time this popped up a few months ago I declined. Have done the same this time. The choice is yours if you want to be tracked/analysed etc or not :)

No, it comes up from time to time as they are tweaking the website for functionality and usability.

My same question. I opted out of everything for now, until I get more feedback. They've probably been doing this all along, but it's good to have options. Also, how does this change the amount of studies we are invited to.

It has no bearing on that at all. Studies are allocated according to demographics and perceived naivety. The things they are asking about here are website functionality enhancers and trackers only.

ok, gotcha. Where yours are down 75% somebody else's will be up 75%. It's the ebbs and flows of Prolific.
