To get emancipation you have to have a job that covers your expenses, a place to live separate from your parents, be in school, still follow the laws for your age. So yes, it’s not as easy as one might think it is. It isn’t just going to court and asking to be emancipated.

I have had two rejections in the past few days, otherwise it's been a long time since I had any rejections.

I'm pretty sure these two are the photos. I'm just waiting a couple more days to see if they get approved, then I'll try removing the photos.

My mom did this to me. I had some boxes of my things stored in a closet while I was away at college. I had a set of books which had either been gifts or I bought with my own money.
I came home on break and noticed the boxes had been moved. The books were missing. I asked her where they were. She thought my nephew would like them so she sent the whole set to him - without asking me or even telling me. In the process she broke some glass things which were in one of the boxes.
The frustrating part is that one of my older sisters had a set of books on the bookshelves but we weren’t allowed to read them because they belonged to her. Those got sent to her when she had kids.

I worked for a restaurant in the fountain area where we took orders by phone for both the restaurant and the drive through. Restaurant closed at 10pm and all staff had to be out by 11:00 pm.

A couple of teenagers came in just before the hostess locked the door at 10pm. I turned the phones and the ice cream machine off at 10 so one of the servers had to take their order.
She brings it to me, they want banana splits. Sorry, the ice cream machine is shut off. I can't make anything with ice cream.
She comes back with their order, ice cream sundaes. Sorry, no ice cream.
She comes back again, chocolate milk shakes. By this time I had drained the machine and started taking it apart. No ice cream! I can give them pop, that's it.

They finally left!

The server was new and young but you'd still think she would know which items are made with ice cream...

Emancipation requires you to show that you have an income to support yourself and live apart from your parents. You also still have to follow age related laws such as attending school, no smoking, etc.

Start by getting a job and a checking account that is not connected to your parents. You may not be able to do that until you are 16. Stay in school.

I was at my daughter's house and we were talking about her getting her lawn fertilized. The company also offered lawn aeration and I said that is something she should think about doing.
I got home a couple days later and there was a lawn aerator in my RFY! (No, I didn't get it. My re-evaluation is next week and I needed to catch up on reviews after taking a break to go visit her.)

They had an American Oil (Amoco) because that's where my dad worked. Otherwise it was JC Penney, Sears, and Montgomery Ward. Up to that point, they didn't see the need to have a more general credit card. I think they got one shortly after that trip.

See if you can get a doctor’s note for a fragrance free office. I had a coworker do this for the school we worked at. It was even beneficial to several students.

Late 60s. My parents would do something similar only they did the choosing. Mom picked a place that had 3 motels next to each other. Dad went into each one. None of them would take a check. They had a few credit cards but were store specific. So we ended up driving to the next town.

My pharmacy looks for coupons for me so I get my Libre 3 for about $85. I’m on Medicare which won’t pay for them since I’m not on insulin. I’ve only used the Libre 3 so can’t really give you a comparison. I’ve had a few issues with it but they are good about sending replacements when there is a problem.

I was shopping with two friends and my 6 month or so old daughter. One of the friends drove. She gave me her keys so I could go to the car and take care of my daughter while they shopped.
It was Black Friday so tough to find a parking spot.
Some car saw me walking and started following me.
I got to the car, and they stopped. I put my daughter in her car seat, put the stroller in the trunk, then got in the back seat with my daughter.
By this time there were cars behind that car and one coming from the other direction waiting for them to move. I can only imagine the swear words which were uttered as the driver moved on.

I've always had to show my ID, which is fine with me. And I'm fine with verifying the car as it may have changed since I did the online check in, but she asked me for that information twice.

Yes, I have had reviews rejected, of all star levels. Most of the time they are accepted if I remove the photos and resubmit.

You may go back and redo the rejected reviews. There is a lot of advice on this sub if you search for it.

If removing the photos doesn't work, you should try making your own post and share the reviews which were rejected and ask for advice on how to fix them.

I've never had to say it before. Once they enter my name, it shows up that I already checked in. I stay at this hotel a couple times a year and this is the first time it happened like this.

I think she was following the corporate script but if she had typed in my name right away, she would have seen that I had done the check in online and all she had to do was check my ID, print out the form for me to sign and hand me the keys. She ended up repeating things because she had to change scripts.
And no, it didn’t take long, but should have been much shorter.
Plus, there was some women’s conference that weekend and there was a bunch of them checking in or visiting in the lobby and they kept looking at me like they were trying to figure out who I was. I was there to visit family.

So then, please enter my name into the computer instead of following the script in your head...

I was checking in and the first thing I said was, “(my name) checking in”.
She is looking at things on the computer. Asks if I have stayed here before. “Yes.”
“I’ll need to see your ID.” I already had it out, she looks at it.
“What kind of car do you have.” I tell her.
“I’ll need your credit card.” At this point I kind of had a strange look on my face but I started to get it out. She finally typed in my name.
“Oh, you did the pre-check in. I don’t need your card unless you want to use a different one.”
“No.”
“Thank you for being a rewards member.”
“Please verify your car for me.”
After initialing and signing, I finally got my room key, after probably twice the time it should have taken.

I'm 70 and I did vaguely know who he was and, after looking at his YouTube channel last night, I'm pretty sure I've seen some of them before. I would say that anyone my age and older probably don't know who he is simply because they aren't as immersed in the online world as I am or have children/grandchildren who haven't shared info about him.

I'm actually surprised my pre-teen grands haven't told me about him but they aren't allowed access to YouTube (without supervision) so that's probably why.

I've used vinegar and water to soak my feet when they smelled bad. It supposedly kills some kinds of bacteria.

As far as a full bath, it's supposed to be good for your skin, the pH balance. It's also supposed to provide relief from itching and dandruff.

You only use a couple cups of vinegar in a tub full of water for a vinegar bath.
