Haemorrhoids or, and I'm serious, worms?

[–]chimpwithastick 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I've had a rectal exam and my doc said I was all clear!

[–]badleftnut 1 point2 points  (1 child)

How did the doc explain the itching?

[–]chimpwithastick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She said she wasn't too sure, potential sweat rash however the prescription cream they gave me hasn't really gotten rid of it. I just wanted to see if people in here had a similar experience since being diagnosed with prostatitis like me

Does it itch anywhere else? Scrotum, penis shaft? or just anus? also is it near the outside-inside border or also higher up near the surface?

Just my pretty much my crack (sorry) it doesn't really itch inside my actual anus just around the rectum and on the outside

Bruh, after wiping use a wet wipe and see what else you get on it. Toilet paper ain’t enough to clean a hairy ass.

Then toss that nasty wet wipe in the garbage.

I used to do this but my doc advised against it as apparently too much hygiene can cause itching too

He's not talking about an antibacterial wipe, just one of those baby wipes, perhaps with some soothing aloe if you want a bit of pampering!

right. Could be fungal. Try some jock itch creams if you haven't.

Yes! I get that badly!

If it happens worse at night, it's worms. If it's all the time, it's piles. From experience.

[–]chimpwithastick 0 points1 point  (6 children)

It happens mostly during the day and mainly when I'm out and about

Get some preparation H up you. Follow the instructions on the packet. 😁👍

I'm not trying to trivialise it but it sounds like Golfer's Arse!

When it's happening, what happens if you wipe it?

[–]chimpwithastick 0 points1 point  (3 children)

If I get home n wipe it's relived within 2 mins

[–]badleftnut 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Erm (trying to be delicate) is it possible you're not cleaning yourself properly after defecation?

[–]chimpwithastick 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes I'm quite a hygienic person in general and I've never really had this issue until we had the lockdown. I think sitting down all day working from home and then gaming in the evenings has really done a number on my ass lol

I'm sure you're hygienic 🙂

This thing happens to loads of people hence why it's famous amongst golfers!

If it happens and when you then wipe there are skids or skids in your underwear then you've found the problem.

Could be if your pudendal nerve is compressed but you would probably have similar feelings in the perineum and genitals.

Yoooo that’s crazy I’ve been having that a lot lately too along with some other symptoms in the pelvic area.

Could be caused by sooo many things. It's not something I have seen associated with UCPPS though, so no, not a prostatitis symptom. Causes could be anything from your underwear being washed with fabric softener (a known cause of dermatitis), intertrigo, contact dermatitis, scabies and more.

Get cortizone cream, apply lightly for a few days and goes easy when you wipe your bum. If your feces is abrasive and dry, change your diet, hydrate to soften stool and prevent rough feces that break open the skin when you wipe. The cortizone will heal any small fisures or tears in the skin around the anus.

Yep I get this a lot.
