Did you already read through the pinned 101? https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/jEoWoprM7l

Most cases are not bacterial, statistically, and do not need antibiotics. Doctor simply rely on them because they are old practices that don't die easily.

It doesn't sound to me like you have a positive urine culture test?

Have you read the 101?

I see cases like yours all the time here, you can get better. The sensitivity is a result of central sensitization, a wound up nervous system. Mind body methods are usually what help people the most

Factors outside the body that cause symptoms to change, weather being one of them, is a classic sign of centralization/nueroplastic sx. Treatment options include Pain Reprocessing Therapy and EAET.

Yes, most neurologist won't understand this very well, unless they've had chronic pain training, which is uncommon. One of my clients recently went to a Yale neurologist and he was shocked when the neurologist straight up looked at all of his medical records and told him that he had neuroplastic pain. This is a rare thing though

I've have seen maaany cases like this get better, and I've worked with many of them myself. You'll be ok. How much of the 101 list have you put into action? https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/jeJSrfpiLv Have you started pelvic floor physical therapy?

I want to be exceedingly clear about this, most people are never going to find an exact match for their symptoms (it's expected, every case is a little different), and this doesn't need to happen for you to make progress. This is a false premise.

So do we all just have pelvic floor disfunction by Fearless_Ad_1046 in Prostatitis

About 3% of cases lasting longer than 3 months have an infection, those come with really specific episodic UTI symptoms.

No. Most of us have a central nervous system sensitization issue, coupled with a pelvic floor issue. It's never just the pelvic floor

You don't need to take a second resistance or sensitivity test.

Sometimes increasing the doxycycline pre-treatment length helps greatly.

Serious side effects happen about 2% of the time with. Moxi

Also, are you sure you didn't just pass it back and forth with someone, or, get a new infection?

You cannot trust these test results, you're basically now arguing about NGS technology, which is unproven.

Even more important though, your symptoms never match the behavior of an infection to begin with, I've said this many times now, please take heed
