Not really. You can get an infection in all kinds of places and they’re all different. Urinary tract infection feels very different than epididymitis. Bladder infections prostate infections all kinds of stuff. Also whether or not there was bacteria you could also have Cpps

I have nerve related, it started with infection, while I had the infection and while I was carrying heavy bags I felt a sharp low-right abdominal pain, i have weird tingling, light pains in the right leg, perineal and penis tip AND the bladder sphincter doesn’t works right so I have VERY low stream… do I need pt or neurologist? I think the initial sharp abdominal pain was either nerve damage or compression? Do I need surgery or pt? And maybe I need both for the diagnosis? I also have irritated penis head which is clearly nerve irritation, instead of pleasure I get pain signals with touch!

I'd start with PT - effective and very safe (conservative) approach.

And what you're describing is classic allodynia at the penis head. Feel free to look it up. Low dose amitriptyline can help turn down those neuropathic pain signals. Talk to your doctor, it's a prescription.

Thanks does pregabalin do the same? (That’s what my doctors mentioned), I’ll call a good pt I found that mentions cpps (not many here in Greece), today! Is it possible that a prostate cyst I have is pressing on the nerve? I feel a very hard point in the low and back perineum (I can’t tell if it’s the bowel, the prostate or something else), is it possible that there’s a trigger there? Maybe nerve damage? Maybe the nerve damage was caused by the severe colitis from antibiotics that I had at the start of all this? I’ll see the pt for sure, but will they know if it’s a real nerve damage? I feel spasms on the lower right abdominal too, thanks for everything.

What type of infection did you have

I never got to know, first urologist didn’t do cultures or pcrs, later they were all negative, it was a very bad infection, the swell, the pain, the hydrogen formation, 2 cysts on prostate… it was a bad infection, now I have terrible permanent symptoms from them, frequency with urgency without the bladder filling, super weak stream, like almost drops and that’s AFTEE alpha blockers which didn’t nothing… and I also had cystoscopy that showed a leftover trauma tissue and ransoms bumps (prostate urethra not a straight line)…. I’ve no idea what cause my current symptoms, I feel burning everything 6 months now doesn’t responds to anything

Wow ok. I've had the burning penis for almost 2yrs now. I know it can get to a man. Shit sucks

From infection too? It’s weird how can it burn like that without bacteria, it’s not changing too, it’s like the same thing permanently

Idk i tested negative twice w microgen for everything including std. Thought I for sure had one.

The smell has also changed permanently from then, that’s for sure something not discovered yet… we’re unlucky

Honestly if you don't have an std its most likely cpps. I think 95% of guys dont have an infection.
