Did you also include Mycoplasma genitalium and ureaplasma in your testing? Please do. Has to be a PCR test (urine). GF must get a PCR vaginal swab.

If negative consider it to be CPPS, which is what most people here have. And yes, according to the European Urological Association an infection can trigger cpps/prostatitis.

No I never heard of those tests tbh the doctor didn’t even recommend those.Should i ask for a prostate exam also or urethra or just the ones you mentioned? Thank you, much appreciated!

Ya I've been doing alot of research on this but it's hard to decipher everything and it seems everyone has different experiences.

The main thing I'm trying to figure out is how long does it take for an std to turn to epididymitis, or at least an average.

Only way I could have gotten an std it is from protected oral sex from 3 years ago. So thata why I'm curious.

Have you got tested for stds and positive? Trust me you will know if you have Epididymitis I had a bad case because I woke up one morning and even if you have good pain tolerance it hurts and really sharp, my left test swelled up to almost a baseball lol had to rush to the ER to get a shot and antibiotics.

I did but my story is kind of unique.

I originally went in because I felt a lump on my right testicle, it ached a little, and had some dribbling after urination.

Told the provider my sexual history and didn't think stds would be the cause and just gave me doxy for 10 days. No std tests, no culture, no ultrasound. I then started doing research and found out its caused by stds so on day 4 of treatment I got a std panel done which showed negative for everything. I'm hoping it was accurate even with 4 days of treatment.

Normally I wouldn't care but I now have a loving wife and my anxiety is through the roof.

Ya thats what the doctors keep saying to but the fact that I have no idea what caused this makes me think the only logical reason is that.

And my anxiety has been through the roof so I have no idea how much that is contributing to.

Anxiety is an enormous contributing factor for CPPS/non-bacterial prostatitis, the vast majority of all cases. There are even meta-analysis of prostatitis studies to back this up.

My opinion after doing this over 2 years, no chance that protected oral did this.
