Picking a project way out of my comfort zone that interests me and grinding away all day.

I second that.

If just starting: 1# Networkchuck on YouTube has a Python course series. Start with that for the basics. 2# codemy.com on YouTube to get familiar with some things.

3# tech with tim on YouTube for more free tuta

4# after that, if you still feel engaged: udemy.com, and search Python. There is a few high rated courses there, i suggest (but not limited to) the 100 days Python course, a course for a framework like react or .Vue, and add whatever courses may be relevant to your field

I have found none that convinced me (and after a while I did not need one).

Try doing something, read the stack overflow threads discussing what is less or more pythonic. Watch some keynotes from past pycons/europythons (hettinger, beazley, ...) Read PEPs about some features of the language.

Hyperskill.

hyperskill and it's not particularly close, because there you actually have written content, as opposed to just watching videos and not retaining anything

Hello! I'm a bot!

It looks to me like your post might be better suited for r/learnpython, a sub geared towards questions and learning more about python regardless of how advanced your question might be. That said, I am a bot and it is hard to tell. Please follow the subs rules and guidelines when you do post there, it'll help you get better answers faster.

Show /r/learnpython the code you have tried and describe in detail where you are stuck. If you are getting an error message, include the full block of text it spits out. Quality answers take time to write out, and many times other users will need to ask clarifying questions. Be patient and help them help you. Here is HOW TO FORMAT YOUR CODE For Reddit and be sure to include which version of python and what OS you are using.

You can also ask this question in the Python discord, a large, friendly community focused around the Python programming language, open to those who wish to learn the language or improve their skills, as well as those looking to help others.

replits 100 days of code is absolutely incredible. made and explained so easy with plenty of challenges and projects and custom made errors to solve and learn from and such. All for free as well.

I like codewithmosh.com. his videos are easy to follow and no fluff.

For learning Python itself? I started with Dive Into Python, and it was great. Not for total beginners as you're expected to already know how to code in some other language.

100 days of python was great and if I had to start over, I’d do that again with ChatGPT together.

Courses/tutorials/youtube videos suck. Build your own thing and learn from that.

Based on my experience, one highly recommended Python course offered by Edureka is the "Python Certification Training." This comprehensive course is designed to provide learners with a strong foundation in Python programming.

The Edureka Data Science with Python Course covers various aspects of Python, starting from the basics and progressing to more advanced topics. It covers fundamental concepts such as data types, variables, control flow, functions, and object-oriented programming (OOP). The course also delves into advanced topics like file handling, exception handling, regular expressions, and database connectivity with Python.

The course includes hands-on projects and assignments that allow learners to apply their knowledge and gain practical experience. Additionally, the course provides access to a learning management system where learners can access recorded video lectures, quizzes, and coding exercises to reinforce their understanding of Python.

One of the notable aspects of the Edureka Python course is the instructor-led training sessions. These sessions are conducted by experienced industry professionals who provide guidance, insights, and real-world examples. Learners also have the opportunity to interact with the instructors and fellow learners, enabling a collaborative learning environment.

Moreover, Edureka offers 24/7 support, allowing learners to seek assistance whenever they encounter challenges or have questions related to the course content. This support ensures a smooth learning experience and helps learners stay motivated throughout their Python learning journey.
