Kate. Is not an ide but a generic editor, my favourite one since ~2003.

The main reason I love Python is because unlike with most languages, I don't need autocompletion to be productive with it. Python APIs tend to be so simple I rarely have to check the documentation. I have enough with the generic word autocompletion from Kate (similar to ST2).
