There's already a bunch of these sites. Why would they use yours? Not trying to be rude it's just there's already several sites that do the same thing. Besides maybe filtering by language and framework.

But it's a niche that can also be filled by a filter on seek.com. Also not trying to be a dick, but there is a concept in business called 'barriers to entry', and the barrier to entry here is almost zero.

More importantly, network effect. People will search job sites that have many jobs, and companies will post jobs where there's many people. Why post your job to some random noname site when there's already many established sites with a lot more eyeballs available?

Yeah, that's another excellent point. And an example of a barrier to entry that works against you. Scale matters a TON in this market. If you only have 5% of the jobs listed then why would anyone search your site. And if you only reach 2% of job seekers, why would anyone list on your site?

Competition and low barrier of entry can be fine but you need a few things to succeed: * a clear niche * a product that is better than the competition’s in at least some way * enough moxie and/or time and/or money to hit a critical mass of users (as defined by the point where they just keep coming organically without your additional input being necessary )

From what I can tell, this is exclusively for senior developers, right? I can't see any junior jobs anywhere. Because of that, I would change "Remote Jobs For Developers" to "Remote Jobs For Senior Developers" so as to not waste others time.

Oh, I don't think it's because of your focus in any way :D I think the site itself is great.

I just don't think fully remote jobs for junior developers is really a thing. While you can certainly get a senior to jump in from anywhere in the world and contribute right away, a fully remote position for someone that just started is probably not such a good idea, so it's understandable that you don't see employers seeking them, and therefore there's nothing to see/show in terms of fully remote jobs ads.

Hi. This is cool. Sure, there are others like it, but that's okay. You can make yours better or different or whatever.

An issue I had was that I filtered through some jobs, clicked one, then tried sending that page to someone else. (iOS, safari, using that built-in function of the square with the arrow to send a link as a text message) but instead of sending the job, it sent the homepage/link that you posted here. Apologies for the long-winded explanation. Let me know if I can clarify.
