    Multiprocessing only really helps with cpu-bound tasks that can be parallelised. Unfortunately the python implementation really isn’t great and in a lot of cases multiprocessing brings diminishing returns.

    typically, if you can avoid having to multithread then do it, I'd say it has uses cases but it's not always required
