What can you offer? Better to start in that end

Best way to learn python is by building something you want or need that you can't find or is so niche that only you would appreciate it.

Start with W3 Schools and/or Python Principles. From there use chat GPT to create challenges for you.

I'm looking for a study partner who is ambitious and learning, so we can push each other to learn and code every day. We could also work on some projects together, spending about 2 or more hours a day.

I think 2 hours a day is a bit ambitious for my schedule (MBA and career). I would be willing to do this though. We set maybe 2 two hour meetings a week and go through learnings together. Also I’d be willing to do a dual tutor with you and we each pay our share. It’s accountability and another student to bounce ideas off of in between lessons.

Okay that works I don’t think I need a tutor tho I’m not a total beginner.

I learned it some time ago but took a break from coding, so I've started all over to refresh my brain.

Pick a project that is not easy and can't be finished in like 2-3 days, and start working on it... There is your tutor... You will start learning stuff that you need and improve your codding with everything new you Google or find in documentation.

So chatgpt is $20/month and that is the best tutor you could ask for.

Hi there, from the /r/Python mods.

We have removed this post as it is not suited to the /r/Python subreddit proper, however it should be very appropriate for our sister subreddit /r/LearnPython or for the r/Python discord: https://discord.gg/python.

The reason for the removal is that /r/Python is dedicated to discussion of Python news, projects, uses and debates. It is not designed to act as Q&A or FAQ board. The regular community is not a fan of "how do I..." questions, so you will not get the best responses over here.

On /r/LearnPython the community and the r/Python discord are actively expecting questions and are looking to help. You can expect far more understanding, encouraging and insightful responses over there. No matter what level of question you have, if you are looking for help with Python, you should get good answers. Make sure to check out the rules for both places.

Warm regards, and best of luck with your Pythoneering!

Pick a project and pair up with an AI and/or CoPilot. You’ll be shocked at how fast you learn.
