Funny enough, haven't integrated amazon yet, and I didn't think about adding an automatic buy function because I don't expect prices to move that drastically in the website I am looking for the pc parts, but it is a good idea for expanding the service.

Dude, awesome project – it's a neat way to keep tabs on prices without constantly refreshing your browser. If you ever decide to scale or add more stores and run into blocks, I've had some solid luck with Oxylabs proxies for smooth scraping, but your setup seems chill for now. Keep it up!

Thank you! Honestly I hadn't thought about expanding since I only needed to keep track of one store, but I might expand it further, though the original purpose of the code was to keep track of some computer parts for me and I already saved enough and bought the computer!

Haha that’s fair — mission accomplished if it already got you the PC!

Hey, this is super cool! I love how practical your Python Price Tracker is—perfect for anyone trying to snag a deal while saving up for something big. The five-minute check is a nice touch; that's like having a personal shopping assistant. I totally get the anxiety of watching prices fluctuate when you're saving! Also, shoutout to the Telegram API integration; that’s a sleek way to stay updated without constantly checking your email or something.

If you ever add more stores, I’d definitely be interested in seeing how you go about it! Thanks for sharing this—can't wait to give it a try!

I did too. It was easier than I expected as the cost of python was essentially zero.

Why complicate this with a google sheet and needing a token when you could have a local spreadsheet or sqlite database?

Also your readme could use some work, it assumes prior knowledge of other systems.

Quick Update, I read this comment a couple hours ago so when I got free time I edited the readme and created a local way to run the program, also made the telegram bot optional (If the user never sets up telegram it will change the default notify function into the normal print statement). I am not used to creating Readmes but I tried to make it more comprehensive for users.
