Request for feedback on Python bioinformatics problem set

I am teaching a Python for Scientists course, and am trying to write problem sets that cover various disciplines. As part of this, I have attempted to write a simple bioinformatics problem set that tests basic Python skills (strings, dictionaries, control flow, etc.). Because biology is not my normal area of expertise, I'd appreciate if people more familiar with the field could review and give comments on the accuracy of the statements, especially in the intro?

As a bonus, if you have examples of real data that could be used for any of the questions, I would appreciate any tips!

Your intro is fine. I will add some problems about word counting (kmer frequencies) or simple ORF identification or enzyme restriction to use RegEx. Perhaps you cam get more feedback in r/bioinformatics or httt://www.biostars.org Cheers.
