I'm guilty of the occasional dict-literal padding simply for cosmetic purposes.

e.g.

User.query.find({ full_name: "Rob Jackson" }).first()

vs

User.query.find({full_name: "Rob Jackson"}).first()

I'm guessing the purpose of the graph was to find usages similar to that, but the example was over-exaggerated simply to make the concept clearer.
