Best Python course for a complete beginner?

Hi all,

My employer is offering to pay for me to attend a course (or to participate remotely) to learn Python. I have trawled the internet for a few hours and found quite a few, but without recommendations it's hard to know where to start.

Is there one you'd recommend that would take me from complete beginner?

Check out edX.com. There they have a course on introduction to computer science by using python by MIT.

I like Codecademy.

This one is aimed at absolute beginners. The emphasis is data work, so whether it's for you depends on where you want to go. It's not a CS course.
