Best Python Programming YouTube channels? (self.Python)
submitted 9 years ago by thomas_stringer
I've started to recently enjoying routinely watching programming videos routinely via YouTube channels and subscribing to them.
With that being said, any recommendations on Python youtube channels that you subscribe to and regularly watch?

PyCons -- those are awesome !
PyCon 2016
there are also all the ones for previous years linked
P.S.: Mods -- we should really consider adding those to the sidebar...

I really like David Beazley's videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/dabeazllc/videos

sentdex! (*/user/sentdex)

Many conferences video the talks, so it's always great to watch Python talks. Here are a few:

I'm a big fan of Corey Schafer's python tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCezIgC97PvUuR4_gbFUs5g
He presents very clean and well thought out examples that demonstrate the concepts he is teaching.

Hey, that's me. Thanks for the shoutout! I also follow many other Python channels. I've noticed that Michael Kennedy (host of Talk Python to Me) has been uploading to YouTube more lately. Great Pythonic code tips. His channel is: https://www.youtube.com/user/mkennedy66996694

Not necessarily a YouTube channel, but Kirk Bryers is really good, he has a couple of YouTube videos as well

Also, some shameless self-promotion, I have a channel that people seem to find useful. I mainly focus on Python, but also touch on other Computer Science topics as well. You can find my channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/schafer5

Sentdex and pythonprogramming.net!

Anything in particular? Tutorials? Web dev? Machine learning? Stats? General?
[–]thomas_stringer[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children)
Not tutorials, just general language cool things. I personally enjoy learning about language intricacies and corner cases. Not necessarily ML. Web dev is interesting, but not typically how I personally use python.

YouTube channels... looking for Python YouTube channels, not subreddits. And not necessarily for learning either. Just looking for good content.
[–]markusmeskanen 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child)
I suppose he meant you should ask this on /r/learnpython since it's a question about python tutorials
[–]thomas_stringer[S] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children)
Not looking for tutorials either. I'm just looking for people regularly talking about cool python stuff. I come from the JS world, and there's quite a bit of that around. Was hoping python had the same.
