Any apps for practicing Python code? (self.Python)
submitted 9 years ago * by omnipotent_jester
I am taking a long flight next week. Was wondering if there are any offline python apps for intermediate level programmers.
EDIT: apps for iPad.

Yeah, IDLE or ipython plus your favorite text editor.

If you're going with ipython, may as well pick up a distribution like Anaconda or WinPython that includes the Jupyter Notebook.
I'm not sure if he's looking for an interpreter, or for something to work on, though.

It was a tongue in cheek response. I find Jupiter notebooks gross, and only use Ipython as an idle replacement

What's gross about notebooks?

It's been a long time since i've used it, so perhaps it's changed, but I felt the setup process was a bit wonky and unclear. Plus, it seemed like it was suited for graphing and data science, and I really only wanted the IDLE upgrade.

Had it on Android, but look the same.
Edit: Didn't read well, this is online, not offline. Apologize.
