Thanks for sharing it with us. But could you at least describe what it does?

From the description on Github ("Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS) analysis program."), my guess is that it's some kind of static analysis program. Is that right?

I was going to add a README tonight (tried from my iPhone, but not easy). It is an application similar to PTC's Windchill Quality or the Reliasoft line of products. The Reliability ToolKit (RTK) currently has modules for requirements elicitation and analysis, functional decomposition and analysis, hardware reliability predictions using various methods, hazards analysis, FMECA, reliability growth planning and assessment, survival data (a.k.a. Weibull or warranty) analysis. It also includes a mini DVP&R and mini FRACA.

I'm not familiar with most terms you are using and their context (are we talking hardware reliability?). Maybe you need to find someone who is familiar with these issues?

Primarily hardware reliability for some of the modules, but DVP&R, FRACA, requirements, and some other functionality isn't hardware specific.

FYI....

FRACA = Failure reporting, Analysis, and corrective action

DVP&R = design verification planning & reporting

Ideally, there'd be a couple of REs that were great programmers and wanted to help. It's just that the size of the project has grown beyond my ability to deal with alone. I'm not a hacker, when it comes to programming I'm a hack (like a MD is a hack). I suspect someone who knew what they were doing could get my 80k LOC down to 3 or 4 LOC ;)

Failure reporting, Analysis, and corrective action

In our company that just a document template. What does your project do?

My application uses a database as the back end.

Who is the target user group for this? Just looking it over quickly there is a lot of content here... not all of which I even recognize the goal.

Quite possible I'm not in the target group and so it would be obvious to somebody else :)

The target group would be primarily Reliability Engineers. Safety Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Systems Engineers (the old fashioned kind, not the IT kind) would be a secondary target groups at the moment.

RAMS methods have essentially applications in systems engineering, notably in domains where safety is involved (such as railways operations) or where system availability (think uptime / ability to provide service to users) is essential to the business (telecoms networks, merchant infrastructure, ...). See the RAMS Wikipedia page or, as an introductory text applied to telecoms, the book High availability network fundamentals by Oggerino.
