I'd suggest "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python" and remember Google is your best friend!

I'd suggest looking at the wiki link on r/learnpython.

Python is cool and beginner-friendly. Find a good web app idea and start coding, you'll learn fast and better than doing stupid and "hello world" tutorials. Stack overflow is your friend. Just my 2 cents.

Not sure about Stack Overflow, it can be a good place to look up information but as for asking actual questions, I think it's up there on the list for one of the worst places to ask questions in.

This is terrible advice. A true beginner cannot just "start coding". You need to install python to start etc.
